“Cutis” is an application software product (hereinafter referred to as “this application”) developed, applied, and managed by Hangzhou C2H4 Internet Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “C2H4 Technology” or “the Company”). C2H4 Technology attaches great importance to and protects your privacy rights. In order to provide you with better services and a more personalized experience, we will collect and use your relevant data and information within the scope permitted by law. The collection behavior will be executed only when you use certain functions or services.
We attach great importance to the protection of user personal information and will treat such information with diligence and prudence. When you download, install, open, browse, register, log in, and use (hereinafter collectively referred to as “use”) this application and related services, we will collect, save, use, share, disclose, and protect your personal information in accordance with this “Privacy Policy”. We hope to introduce to you our handling of your personal information through this “Privacy Policy”, so we recommend that you carefully and completely read all the terms of this “Privacy Policy”.
When you choose to continue or use again, based on the necessity of providing products and services, it will be deemed that you accept and agree that we handle your relevant information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this agreement and future revised versions, please do not use the service.
When you use it, this application may suggest that you register an account to fully utilize the services and advantages of this application. When you register an account for this application, this application will collect the account name you provide. When you actively log in to this application through a third-party account, we will collect the nickname and avatar information of the third-party account. If you only need to use functions such as browsing, you do not need to register as our user and provide the above information.
Purpose of use: With your separate consent to this authorization, we will collect and use your camera information to provide you with functions such as taking photos to analyze skin type and uploading pictures by taking photos.
Information description: We only collect corresponding information when you use the corresponding function. The names displayed by different systems may vary, such as camera, webcam, etc.
If you turn off the camera authorization, you may not be able to use the corresponding function, but it will not affect your use of browsing-related services.
Purpose of use: With your separate consent to this authorization, we will collect and use your album information to provide you with functions such as analyzing skin type, uploading pictures, and taking screenshots.
Information description: We only collect corresponding information when you use the corresponding function. The names displayed by different systems may vary, such as album, storage permission, etc.
If you turn off the album authorization, you may not be able to use the corresponding function, but it will not affect your use of basic services.
Purpose of use: Through your network location information (such as IP and WLAN), we will know your approximate geographic location information to provide you with weather-related skin care suggestions (moisturizing suggestions, sunscreen suggestions).
Information description: We will strictly protect your personal information in accordance with the law. Except as otherwise provided by law, we will only retain your relevant personal information for the shortest time necessary to achieve the purpose.
Purpose of use: During your use of our services (including basic services), we will collect and use your device information to solve software problems for you and provide services such as search (basic service), system operation security (basic service), and login of third-party SDKs (basic service), and better serve you in the future.
Information description: The device information we collect includes your device model, device name, device information, device connection to WiFi and base station information, operating system, etc. Without your authorization, we will not obtain the above information in advance.
Purpose of use:
(1) During your use of the products/services provided by us, we will record your usage behavior information such as likes, favorites, comments, interaction objects, and searched words to enable you to continue using our services.
(2) When you publish content, we will record the pictures, text, and other content you publish.
Information description: We will strictly protect your personal information in accordance with the law. Except as otherwise provided by law, we will only retain your relevant personal information for the shortest time necessary to achieve the purpose.
We will not share or transfer your personal information (including face information) with third parties unless we have obtained your prior authorization and consent.
Except when we disclose the necessary information of relevant accounts when punishing illegal accounts and fraud behaviors, we will not publicly disclose your information unless we follow the provisions of national laws and regulations or obtain your consent. We will adopt security protection measures that meet industry standards when publicly disclosing your personal information.
We will retain your personal information for the shortest period necessary to provide our products and services. For example, for the information such as the posts, comments, and likes you publish, we will retain the relevant information during the period when you have not withdrawn, deleted your account. After the expiration of the necessary period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
Regarding the storage period of face information: When using the skin analysis feature, we will access the facial images you capture to generate an analysis report. The original image will be deleted after the analysis is completed. The skin analysis data derived from the images will be retained for an extended period; however, you may delete this information at any time using the app’s deletion feature.
You have various control rights over your personal information in our products and/or services, including: you can access, correct/modify, and delete your personal information, you can also withdraw the consent you previously gave for your personal information, and at the same time, you can also delete your account.
(1) Right of Access and Modification
You may log into your personal account at any time via the relevant app pages to view your profile details, such as your avatar, nickname, birthday, gender, and personal signature. The typical access path for this information is: Profile > Settings > Profile/Account.
(2) Right to Delete Your Information
We generally keep your personal information only for as long as required by law or for the minimum time needed. You can delete your information in two ways:
Self-deletion: Some information can be deleted directly in the app via settings.
Submit a request: You can apply to delete your information by sending an email to privacy@c2h4.org.
Please note: When you delete information, it may not be removed from backup systems right away, but it will be deleted once the backups are updated.
(3) Right to Withdraw Consent
You can change permissions (such as location, camera, contacts, notifications, etc.) in your device settings.
If you want to stop us from collecting your information entirely, you can delete your account. After you withdraw your consent, we will stop collecting the relevant data. However, previously collected data may continue to be stored unless you explicitly request its deletion.
(4) Right to Delete Your Account
You have the option to delete your account unless laws or policies say otherwise.
Once deleted, you’ll no longer be able to use our services, and your account data will be deleted or anonymized.
To delete your account, go to: Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
(5) Right to Know About Service Suspension
If we ever need to stop providing a product or service, we will let you know in advance (via app message or other notice). We will also stop collecting your data and delete or anonymize any personal information after the required period.
(6) Right to Complain or Report
If you believe your personal data is being misused or at risk, you can report it to us.
Go to Profile > Settings > Feedback to submit a complaint. We’ll review and respond within 15 days.
In order to provide you with better services, we will update the terms of this “Privacy Policy” according to the update of the product and the relevant requirements of laws and regulations. Such updates form part of this “Privacy Policy”. Without your express consent, we will not reduce the rights you should enjoy in accordance with this policy. We will notify you by prominently displaying or sending you a push message or in other ways before the updated privacy policy takes effect. If such updates cause a substantial reduction or significant change in your rights under this privacy policy, we will seek your express consent again.
Significant changes include but are not limited to:
There is a significant change in our service model. Such as the purpose of processing personal information, the type of personal information processed, the way of using personal information, etc.;
There is a significant change in our ownership structure, organizational structure, etc. Such as the change of the owner caused by business adjustment, bankruptcy merger and acquisition, etc.;
The main objects of personal information sharing, transfer, or public disclosure change;
Your rights in participating in personal information processing and the ways of exercising such rights change significantly;
The department responsible for handling personal information security, the contact information, and the complaint channels change;
The personal information security impact assessment report indicates a high risk.
